By becoming a CASA volunteer, you are offering hope to a child who is one of the most vulnerable, at-risk children in Delaware County. If you would like to learn more about the program, please email us here or call Deb McCurdy at (740) 833-2654.
However, if you currently are unable to volunteer as an advocate, there are many other ways to support our program:
Become a Friend of CASA - Volunteer to help our CASA program by donating time to help staff a fundraiser, organize an event, or simply spread the word at your workplace, in a civic group, or in your community. Contact Deb for more information.
Monetary Donations - Contributions to the non-profit Friends of Delaware County CASA go toward training and recruitment of CASA volunteers with the goal of improved advocacy for each child in need of a CASA. All contributions are tax-deductible.
Recruitment - Help us to find volunteers by sharing what you know about our program with friends, relatives, and co-workers. Contact your church or civic group to request that we add our recruitment flyer to bulletins and newsletters, or to invite us to present our PowerPoint program to the group.
Donation of Special Skills - We are looking for people or organizations who are willing to help us with:

Fundraising - Expertise with acquiring corporate sponsorship, private foundations, individual gifts, grant writing

Recruitment - Expertise with developing a campaign or establishing contacts

Development of a professional promotional video
Donation of Supplies - Office supplies, software programs, or any other relevant supplies or hardware are always appreciated.
Donation to Our Children's Committee - Our Children's Committee is involved in creating projects several times a year to give to CASA children when a volunteer visits. Most recently, material was purchased by our volunteers to create Halloween bags with treats for our younger children. Any contribution of raw materials or other items that would help the Children's Committee would be greatly appreciated.
